SupportMusic was launched by the Music Education Coalition, an entity formed by the International Music Products Association (NAMM) and the National Association for Music Education (MENC).

In July 2006, Danny Rocks formed The Company Rocks as a catalyst of change for individuals, corporations and educational associations who want to understand change and seize opportunities that arise with change.
